Stone the Adulterers First!

The proudly gay Dan Savage was sent out by Bill Maher's "Real Time" producers to gauge the queer views of Mike Huckabee's South Carolinian supporters:
Why -- in a nation filled with war, a tanking economy, an epidemic of displaced working people who have no health insurance, cruelty, laziness, obesity, and a whole slew of solvable problems -- is gay rights the one passionate issue that will get these people off the couch and into the voting booth?
It's so funny when that one lady says, '..it's not you.' Yeah, right...it's not you... it's all of you gays. Don't take it personally, but you are an abomination and should roast in hell forever...
I live among some of these same people and I'm constantly amazed at the things they believe. They need to be carefully studied by cultural anthropologists to see if they can't break the mold and grow into the larger world that surrounds them. It's as if they were a primitive tribe lost in the headwaters of the Amazon. Poor things.
And ain't it funny that the most inbred, lowest class, fewest teeth and lowest IQ white people are the ones in "white supremacy" organizations?
My favorite line in the clip, and one that sums it all up is:
"Let them stone all the sinners, but start with the adulterers and by the time they get to the gays, they will be out of rocks."
